Bridgewater Retirement
Community Energy Building

Bridgewater, VA | SF: 4,950 | General Contractor: Skyline Roofing, Inc.

The Problem

When the Energy Building at Bridgewater Retirement Community needed a new roof, our team at Skyline Roofing was ready to help. Years of weather had worn down the old asphalt shingles, and drainage issues were starting to cause concern. To keep the building safe and efficient for years to come, it was time for an upgrade.

The Solution

We replaced the aging roof with a sleek, 26-gauge metal system featuring 16-inch snap lock panels and 1-inch standing seams, designed for both strength and style. To make sure the new roof performs its best, we added custom drainage crickets, an ice and water shield for leak protection, and a tough synthetic underlayment. We also reinstalled the lightning protection system and added Berger RT300 snow guards to keep residents and staff safe during winter.

The Benefits

The new standing seam metal roof isn’t just built to last; it’s designed to make life easier, with minimal maintenance and a clean, modern look. Backed by a 35-year manufacturer’s finish warranty and a 2-year contractor warranty, the Energy Building is now ready to take on the seasons with confidence. And as always, our crew made sure the site was spotless before we wrapped up.

At Skyline Roofing, we pride ourselves in delivering high-quality, tailored solutions so our clients can focus on what matters most to them.
